Background and Experience:
Art brings an extensive background in marketing, management and content development in the automotive industry. He holds a degree in Journalism, which laid the foundation for his career. He began as an editorial staff member at two prominent automotive magazines, where he honed his skills and passion for all things automotive.
Shifting into marketing, he worked in several roles at Bridgestone/Firestone, culminating as Marketing Manager for Bridgestone passenger, light truck, and winter tires. Art then joined an advertising agency specializing in the automotive aftermarket, where he led accounts clients, including Flowmaster, Alldata, Falken, K&N, Toyota Collision Parts, and Toyota Racing Development (TRD).
In a return to the tire industry, Art served as Marketing Communications Manager for Yokohama Tire and is responsible for launching the ADVAN brand into the U.S. market. Following his passion for motorsports, Art seized a unique opportunity to manage the iconic Skip Barber Racing School at the legendary Laguna Seca Raceway.
Art then worked for several years as Senior Marketing Manager at eBay Motors, where he developed and produced the ModJobs series of videos chronicling the customization of cars and motorcycles. Although Art has been a part-time freelance automotive writer off and on since college, he took the plunge in 2021 to pursue it full-time. He’s developed content for Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac, Ford, K&N Filters, and CarFax, among others.
